APPLICATIONS MISSING FROM VOLUME MIXER DRIVERS WERE AVAILABLE

Make sure the volume is not muted by looking at the Mute buttons below the volume slider. You may have lowered the volume of Chrome to an inaudible level and forgotten to raise it back up.All of the active sound applications display. Starting with Windows Vista, Windows allows you to adjust the volume of each program individually.

I have tried disconnecting my second display just to check and that did nothing.I have checked for windows updates (some updates installed but none were relevant to this and none fixed it). I have made sure that all other Playback devices are disabled so the monitor is the only possible playback device. The same applications do not appear in the audio mixer.I have also disabled all Recording deviced and unplugged any recording devices. I tried bypassing my monitor and plugging the aux directly to the motherboard but that was clearly never going to work.

None of these have worked. I have found new video drivers were available so I uninstalled video drivers, restarted, and installed the newer video drivers. I have uninstalled audio drivers, restarted, and reinstalled audio drivers.

Installed the newest AMD Crimson version (which went live yesterday) And while the files and all the articles that pop up on google about AMD Crimson, say the program is called Crimson, I still only have the same 2 applications for AMD I used to (AMD Settings, and AMD Gaming Evolved). And I can confirm that other applications such as chrome and other games still play audio and appear in the volume mixer on both the motherboards audio device which is controlled by Realtek drivers, and the monitor playback device controlled by amd. Now when I go to playback devices I can listen in and switch between the two of them as I test. I have set up my speakers back to my monitor, and plugged headphones into the motherboard. Still not in volume mixer.
